The Knick is a night time Side Quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
Objectives[]
- Find the pacemaker in the GRE quarantine zone.
- It turned out that the pacemaker was inside the body of an infected. I had to kill him and rip the thing out.
- Bring the pacemaker to the surgeon.
- I brought the pacemaker to the surgeon. He confessed that he's the one who needs it...and planned to implant it himself.
Walkthrough[]
While on the roof of a Forsaken Store in southwestern Lower Dam Ayre, a man named Ferenc Waller can be found leaning against a wall. In conversation it becomes clear that Ferenc confuses Aiden for a hireling. When Aiden presses on the name of his "boss", Ferenc explains that he had requested aid in recovering a pacemaker from the medical offices in a nearby GRE Quarantine Building. Upon further pressing, Aiden offers to retrieve the pacemaker for Ferenc.
The pacemaker is located on the third floor of the THV Advanced Care Quarantine Building. As the place is crawling with infected during the day, head over there at night. The pacemaker can be found in an open cabinet.
Upon obtaining the pacemaker, return to Ferenc who is now located at the 'Hickory' Windmill. He will be grateful, but state he needed the pacemaker for himself as opposed for just regular contract work. Regardless, he will reward Aiden, finishing the quest.
