The Countryside, officially known as Farmlands, is a district of Harran and the primary location in Dying Light: The Following. It is located south of New Town, and its total area is equal to Harran's Old Town and Slums areas combined[1], which includes a number of villages and farming estates. The Countryside is where Dying Light: The Following takes place, with new easter eggs, blueprints, weapons, a buggy, new story quests, and dozens of side quests.
Notable Locations[]
Despite its size, The Countryside doesn't have a large amount of notable locations. This is possibly due to the locations simply having more space between them in order to make traveling via the buggy faster.
Jasir's Farm[]
Jasir is one of the first characters that Crane meets when he leaves Harran. His farm is the first safe zone encountered when following the story quests, and it is the staging ground for the majority of the story quests for the rest of the expansion pack.

Pumping Station[]
Following the main story, Crane will eventually come across a pumping station, located slightly north-west of Jasir's farm. The station has been taken over by bandits and must be cleared out in order to allow the water system to once again supply Jasir's farm and other nearby settlements.
Bilal's Gas Station[]
Bilal is the only quartermaster in The Countryside area, and can be found at his gas station in the north-eastern part of the map.
Trivia[]
- In Dying Light 2 Stay Human, the Farmlands tourist and military maps can be seen in the PK buildings.
