Survivor Skills is a skill tree in Dying Light.
The survivor rank gives you access to supporting abilities, blueprints and gadgets. The higher your rank, the better the equipment offered by shops. Better equipment can also be found in containers (almost always the same as what merchants offer). However, having a higher rank means the enemies get tougher and, in case of humans, use better weapons.
How to increase level[]
- Complete Quests
- Help and rescue other survivors
- Participate in challenges
- Survive through the night, outside of Safe Zones

Weapons available on each Survivor level[]
Note 1: the list only includes weapons not available on the previous level. This means that if a weapon continues to appear through multiple levels, it is not listed multiple times (mostly applies to firearms).
Note 2: Weapons only available at merchants, through dockets or in enemy drops (f.e. certain zombies and humans) are not listed (i.e., heavy weapons, bows, weapons that start to appear in chests later than on enemies, etc.).
