Quests are a gameplay element featured in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. They are missions commonly given by certain survivors within the open-world. Quests are divided into two categories: Story quests are served for the game's storyline, while side quests are served for game's universe outside of the storyline. Some side-quests are limited to either the Peacekeepers or Survivors, while others are available for both. Sometimes, quests which are available for both actions will have the quest giver wear clothing matching whichever side a district is given to.

Story Quests are a linear set of missions that tell the storyline of the player character, Aiden Caldwell. These quests help move along the main storyline.
