Outfits are a gameplay reward featured in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. They serve as customization for the player's in-game appearance. In game, outfits have no effect on gameplay unlike outfits released later in Dying Light's lifespan and Gear Pieces. For Nightrunner tool skins, refer here.

Outfits in the base game are earned through purchasing/claiming DLCs on platform stores, unlocking them through progression systems and TechlandGG. This section does not contain any outfits that require the purchase of a story DLC, even if it was made to promote it.

Outfits for NPCs[]
Currently only Lawan has an outfit, it is unknown if any more NPCs will get outfits. You cannot disable Lawan´s outfit without mods or disabling the preorder pack DLC. Her pack also contains a paraglider and backpack skin for her and Aiden, as well as a crossbow skin for Lawan.

Trivia[]
- Ronin, Authority and Stay Human outfits were all originally only gear sets, but after many were disappointed with the stats Techland added outfit versions. Techland has since added a gear transmog mechanic in April 2023.
- The Hooded Nightrunner outfit is a reimagined version of the outfit featured in E3 2019 gameplay footage.
- Lawan is the only NPC with an outfit.
- As of February 2023, there is no way to unlock Prince Gladiator, Aristocrat and Reload if one had not already.
- The Rais Commando outfit was available for purchase again during the 2nd Anniversary event on TechlandGG for 50 pilgrim tokens.
- Dying Laugh was a free DLC for the last week of the "All Hallowś Eve" event.
- The Nutcracker, Rais, Chicken and Brecken bundles were all unlockable in events, and were advertised as being the only chance to get them for free.
