I have been attempting to read through the articles on the Wikia page for Dying Light, however the background is completely white, with very pale grey lettering, and the custom mouse cursor is also just a white dot.
This is making it very difficult to navigate the page and even read anything.
I have not tested it on my phone but viewing it using Google Chrome on my PC while at work is very difficult.
Is there anything you will be able to do to fix this?
Hey, sorry if I haven't been around. Honestly, I haven't really kept up with the wiki, but in terms of that I can help you with it however.
I think in order for me to try my best to help, can you send me a screenshot of what it looks like? I can try my best, but in terms of of the page design I think you might need to get some help out of NinjaFatGuy, which basically made the wiki.
I'm mostly the admin for doing the pages and templates and such. However, recently I haven't been really on here or keeping up at the moment due to me feeling I had lost a little bit of hope on the game itself honestly. I can try my best to help you out as much as possible, but yeah I haven't really been on here much recently.
There's a missing side quest, I'm not sure how to add pages, but I saw you had edited things recently so I figured I'd tell you.
In Old Town above the University (where you look for Jade first), there's a guy named Mort Norris, you can get to him by using the ladder next to the entrance to the University. He gives you a quest called Fountain which is missing from the wikia. He tasks you with turning on 3 valves in different ares, then opening the main valve in yet another one. Upon complection you get 5K money, blueprint water 2.0 (upgraded form of conducting liquid it seems), and access to foutains across the city to drink from (provides 10HP each drink). The difficulty of the side quest is medium.
Yes I've heard about that. However, recently I haven't gotten back to Dying Light due to other games I've been focusing on recently, but when I get back to it I will see if I can include that quest at some time. Thanks! :)
Sorry if I haven't been on here, I am still working on this wiki, but currently I have been also focusing on the State of Decay wiki. But anyhow, if you wanna copy what we got so far with the Easter Eggs on here and put it on the Easter Eggs wiki, you're more than welcome to do so. :)
Hey, I'm becoming more and more of an active dyiing light player and i've got a decent collection of Relief packages that I wanted to share with my friend but he can't pick them up for some reason. Is this a game mechanic or a glitch?
I believe before it was possible to trade DROPS, but do to those drops being used for duplications glitches, Techland removed the ability to trade DROPs with friends. Right now, I think the ability to not trade DROPs serves as a mechanic, but before it was more like a glitch.
Hope this helps!
Also, are you trying to give your friend the DROPs to level up the Legendary Levels?
A lot of us (such as me, Oscar, Thollos) are currently focusing on the base game's gameplay (for more information, check out Oscar's blog post about what's currently going on), this includes me working on the melee weapons pages currently. There has been a few new pages for The Following's firearms such as the Hunting Shotgun, but in terms of information, I'm quite occupied with the working on the melees, and preferably I'd like to work on the melee pages as it is in fact a bigger component of Dying Light. Don't worry, I'm not forgetting about working on the pages and eventually my focus will be on that, it's just I'm personally working on the melees for now if you don't mind.
While I'm not sure about things such as the shotguns and rifles, there are two variants of Revolver being Rusty and Non-Rusty (default), therefore the Revolvers I would say should stay the way they are.
Also, right now another focus is working on making renders for the Firearms, this would help a bit as some of the images aren't really proper as I would like to put it. However, I can tell you is that once I'm done making the renders for the base game's firearms, I will try to work on making the weapon renders of The Following's firearms such as the Revolvers, Shotguns, and SMGs, so don't lose all hope just yet. :)
