Show: The Only Way Out

Aiden: "Hey, kids. I'm looking for a woman named Maya."
Dominik: "Hahaha!"
Aiden: "What's so funny?"
Dominik: "(laugh) Maya ain't a grown-up! She's just a plain old girl."
Aiden: "*You* who were the one trying to sell a PK weapon to Hubert?"
Maya: "Yeah, but the jerk didn't want it. Got all freaked out and chased me away."

Aiden: "(Where did you find the Lazarus?) How did you get ahold of a Peacekeeper weapon?"
Maya: "We all found it. Was wandering around with these punks and ran across a corpse. Happens a lot. He was totally dead. We searched him. And I took the brass whose-whatsits, cuz I figured someone'd pay a pretty penny for 'em."
Aiden: "(Give me the Lazarus.) Maya... I need that weapon. It's very important."
Maya: "You expect me to just hand that brass... whosi-whatsit over? Are you nuts?"
Aiden: "The whosi-whatsit's real name is the Lazarus, and it belonged to an important PK. We might have a war if I don't return it. You could help us find a murderer."
Maya: "Okay ... I'll give you the stupid thing. But for 500."
Aiden: "(Negotiate.)"
Aiden: "(I don't pay.) 500? Are you crazy? Besides... Why do you need so much money?"
Maya: "What planet are you from? we don't have water. And water costs money."
Aiden: "Maya. It's dangerous. Do you want the PK to arrest you? Give it to me now!"
Maya: "All right ... Nobody wanted to buy 'em anyway. Cut myself on 'em, too."

Aiden: "Heya, little one. How're you?"
Maya: "I'm not little."
Aiden: "Hey, wait. We've met before. I'm Aiden. What's your name again?"
Maya: "Maya."
Aiden: "What're you doing here, Maya?"
Maya: "Lookin' for bandits. Gonna beat the crap outta them. But I'm hiding from the infected right now."
Aiden: "Ah... so what'd these bandits do to you?"
Maya: "They stole lots of stuff. But the most important thing was-- Uh oh... they're here!"
Bandit: "There she is!"
Bandit 2: "You're done following us around, you little shit!"
Maya: "Toldja."
Bandit: "You're dead, kid!"
Aiden: "Don't worry. How'bout I beat'em up? Hide. This won't take long."
(After the fight)
Maya: "Thanks! That was amazing! And gross too..."
Aiden: "They're the ones who stole your stuff?"
Maya: "No. There were more of 'em before. The rest prolly have it."
Aiden: "What's the 'most important' thing they took?"
Maya: "My music box."

Aiden: "(Why does it mean so much to you?) Why is it so important to you?"
Maya: "It belonged to my mother. That's all I have left of her."
Aiden: "(It must be valuable.) That does sound important."
Maya: "You need to find it. And... I'll let you keep it if you do. You did save my life. The bandits went into that building overlooking a construction site, on William IX Road! You gotta get it from them! If you won't, then I will!"
Aiden: "Whoa, whoa, WHOA little--I mean, my lady. Don't worry. I'll handle them."
Maya: "If you can't find them, just stop and listen. The music box plays a meloday like this... Hmmmm... Hm-hmmmm... Hm-hmm-hm-hmmmm..."
Aiden: "I'll keep that in mind."
Maya: "But they won't be there during the day. Go at night. They always go back to that building at night."
Aiden: "Why don't I take you home? Where do you live?"
Maya: "I'll go to the Bazaar. By myself. I'm not a baby. If you don't want to keep the music box, you could sell it there. It's worth a lot!"

(At the Bazaar, after obtaining the music box)
Maya: "Aiden! Did you do it? Did you find the music box?"

Aiden: "(I'll keep it for my reward.)"
Aiden: "(I came to give it back to you.) Yes. And I've come to give it back to you."
Maya: "But... I said you could keep it. For saving my life. And I mean what I say."
Aiden: "I believe you. But the way you keep humming the tune from this music box... Seems you'd be happier if you had it back. So it would have a better home with you than with me. Thank you, Aiden."
Maya: "Well, maybe... I have had it forever."
Aiden: "You're welcome... my lady."

Aiden: "Maya? Why don't you wait a few years before you look for a boyfriend?"
Maya: "Are you nuts? I'm looking for a Herman. Like the one Sophie has."
Aiden: "A Herman?"
Maya: "A warrior who would jump into the flames for me. So that we could have our own gang and never fear anyone. Maybe you'd like to be that? I saw you fight. We could kick some ass together!"

Aiden: "(No.)"
Aiden: "(Yes.) I'd be happy to join you. Together with such a brave ki... woman, we could rule the town."
Maya: "Yaaayyy! Cool!"
Aiden: "Yeah, but first... I need to finish what I'm doing. Gotta find someone."
Maya: "I see... Anyway, if you want to start our gang when you're finished, let me know."
Aiden: "I will. Good luck!"
