"Instant Escape" is an Agility skill available in Dying Light.
Overview[]
Biters are everywhere in Harran and can be found in large hordes. While their speed and strength is not noteworthy, they do have a very annoying ability to grab, allowing one to deal large amounts of damage and forcing the player to mash on a button to slowly break free. This can completely stop momentum and possibly lead to the player getting surrounded.
This skill greatly reduces the chances of such things happening, allowing the player to escape with the press of a button while also Stunning said Biter. This allows for slightly riskier actions near Biter hordes while also allowing players to kill off the grabber with a Stun Kill.
However its usefulness is mostly tied to Biters while having almost no effect to other enemies. Nevertheless, it is still a great skill to have when you are once again faced by hordes of Biters
