Gaining credence is the third story quest of Dying Light: The Following.[1]
Objectives[]
- Drive to the pumping station
- The locals have a serious problem: bandits took over the local pumping station, so there's no running water. Some locals went there, but never came back... Maybe it's tine I went and had a look around.
- Find a way inside
- Speak with the bandit leader
- Defeat the bandits
- Find out who was screaming
- Defeat the last bandit
- Free the hostage
- Help Ali to get the water back
- Drive along the pipeline to the main valve
- The bandits wanted to sell water to people under conditions no one could possibly accept. I shut them down hard... But they must've closed the main valve, and the pipes are going to burst if I don't find it fast.

Walkthrough[]
With the absence of Kaan, Ezgi recommends doing some work for the locals to gain their trust. The local water supply recently got polluted, so look for a way to solve this issue. Head to the pumping station, to the west of Jasir's farm, near a lake. Be sure to bring the buggy.

Once at the pumping station follow the wall to the south and climb up a ladder to meet Tarkan, the man in charge. Down below a goon is located standing in a bloody pool of water. The conversation isn't fruitful and Tarkan and his fellow bandits end up attacking Crane. Dispatch them. During the fight, Ali can be heard screaming for help.
After dealing with the bandits, climb on to the balcony of the main structure and head inside and head downstairs. A bandit will kick open the door, deal with him and save Ali. Ali will try to reactivate the water supply, but the valve blocked the supply, causing the pipes to start leaking. Enter the buggy and drive along the pipelines to find its location and turn the valve. The pipelines end at a small pumping station near a water tower. Head inside and climb down to find the valve and turn it off. Crane will then contact Ali again, who will tell Crane to head back to the farm and talk to Jasir. Upon arriving at the farm, people can be heard in joy about the water:
Sinan: "Mother is kind!"
Latif: "I'm taking the first bath!"
Esra: "I'm gonna drink till I pop!"
Polat: "Miracle. It's a damn miracle!"
Burak: "Yeah..."
Ezgi can also be spoken to, and will show her gratitude. Head to Jasir, who will state his gratitude. After speaking to him, the quest is completed. Shortly thereafter, Crane will contact Lena and give her a status report.
