In Dying Light 2 Stay Human, players can increase their "Combat" and "Parkour" Skills.
- Health: Allows you to sustain more damage from falls or getting hit by enemies. To increase Health, collect 3 Inhibitors and apply them in the Skills menu.
- Immunity: Allows you to remain in darkness longer. Immunity increases automatically every time you level up your Stamina or Health.
- Stamina: Allows you to climb higher and fight longer without losing breath. To increase Stamina, collect 3 Inhibitors and apply them in the Skills menu.
Skill trees in Dying Light 2 Stay Human are separated into "Combat" and "Parkour". Like Dying Light, you earn skill points in combat by killing or hitting enemies, and you earn points in parkour when you climb, or while freerunning. The points earned can be doubled during night time, however unlike the first game, skill points aren't all you need to unlock the entire skill tree. You will have to level up your stamina and health accordingly to unlock further advanced skills. Combat skills have health requirements while parkour skills have stamina level requirements.
Increase your Combat Proficiency by fighting and killing enemies. More advanced moves give you more proficiency points.
Increase your Parkour Proficiency by performing parkour actions like jumping, climbing, sliding, etc. More advanced moves give you more proficiency points.
The skill ¨Slide jump¨ is displayed incorrectly, in the video showcase it shows a player jumping during a slide animation and telling to press the space bar, when in reality you have to press the E key and it functions similar to far jump. The skill landing jump is currently unknown as to how it works
