"Ammunition for the bow. Kill enemies silently and effortlessly. Aim for the head!"
In-game description

Arrows are ammunition for the Bow. They do mediocre amounts of damage and do not have any special effects.

Overview[]

As of all default ammunition, arrows are cheap to make and deal decent amounts of damage for its cost. Furthering their cost-effectiveness, default arrows can be retrieved from corpses, and will detach if the corpse despawns, or from terrain if they can be found again. Using Survivor Sense can help relocate lost arrows. They're not subject to durability or chances of breaking.

It is a very capable ranged weapon, the only limitation being the players skill. Compared to the other types of arrows, it's best to use regular arrows on enemies the player wishes to kill in one shot or enemies already under the effects of the two other types of arrows. It is also useful when the player runs out of materials needed to craft the two other arrows.

Another use for these arrows is for newer players to get used to the Bow. Due to the expensive cost of the other arrows, it is better to practice your shots with regular arrows instead. Once the player is confident with their accuracy, other types of arrows may also be used.
