Arena Machete is a unique melee weapon that appears in Dying Light.
The machete itself has a long, rectangular blade and lends its appearance likely to that of a paper cutter arm, despite it being an actual weapon.
The Arena Machete is first (and only) encountered in the mission, "The Pit". The machete itself is obtained after fighting off a horde of infected in Rais' pit. Rais throws the machete to the ground before unleashing the first Demolisher and it is recommended you use this weapon, possibly only made second in priority to the few rebar weapons.
Like all other weapons found in The Pit, the machete is a gray weapon and deals little damage to most enemies without being upgraded further. The weapon is kept after the mission and can be used and broken like a normal weapon.
