What are Community Ideas?
Community Ideas is a subpage on Pilgrim Outpost dedicated to our fans. Since the launch of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, we’ve been flooded by the community with several fan-requested features and other ideas that they would like to see added to the game. We want our players at the forefront of everything it is that we do here at Techland. This is why we are giving them the ability to make those wishes a reality by allowing the best and most suitable ideas to find their way into the game.
How can I submit my Ideas?
Visit the Community Ideas page on pilgrimoutpost.com/goodies/community-ideas and press “Submit an idea”. Log in or sign up to Pilgrim Outpost to submit your request and fill out the form. Remember to list only one idea per entry.
What happens with my idea after I submit it?
After you submit your idea, check back to the website regularly to see if it made it to “Voting”. There we store our newest entries so that they can be voted on by the community. Some submissions will not get published if they don’t meet the moderation criteria. If they do meet all the requirements, you should expect them to be listed.
How can I vote for ideas?
Create a Pilgrim Outpost account and upvote however many submissions you like. You can also downvote ideas if you believe they don’t fit well with the overall Dying Light 2 Stay Human vision, though they won’t alter the “Most Popular” ranking. The top ten suggestions will move on to “In Review” on the last Thursday of each month.
Will my ideas get added to the game?
Not every idea is going to be added to the game. Only the ones that successfully make it through the whole process will be implemented. This process consists of four stages: community vote, developer review, approval and development.
How can I ensure that my idea gets more upvotes?
Encourage people to vote on your idea so that it cracks the top most popular list by using the direct link to your idea and sharing it around.
My idea made it to “Approval” or “In Development”. When will I see it get implemented into the game?
Not all ideas are equal. In game development, things are always in flux, not to mention some concepts are far more ambitious than others. For that reason, we can’t specify set dates, but once an idea has made it to “In Development”, you can be sure we are doing everything in our power to implement it.
When will I see my idea implemented into the game?
Everything hinges on the idea itself. First, it has to place in the top 10 of the most popular list in “Voting” by the last Thursday of a given month. Then it will be reviewed by our developers to assess its scope or if it fits within the overall direction of Dying Light. We will regularly let you know which ideas have been chosen by systematically updating the “Approved” and “In Development” sections.
What does the process look like?
The entire process consists of the following stages and prerequisites:
  • Moderation - After an idea has been submitted, it must undergo a moderation process that could flag an entry for not meeting our Terms & Conditions or other requirements.
  • Voting - If a submission meets the criteria, it will be officially listed on our site in its first main stage, where the community can upvote their favorite ideas.
  • In Review - On the last Thursday of each month, our devs will review the ten highest-rated ideas in “Voting” and transfer them to the second stage called “In Review”. There is no specified time frame that pinpoints how long the review process will take. Developers will assess the feasibility of those ideas.
  • Approved/Rejected - Once the review process is complete, the entries will move on to the third stage, which can be broken up into two different scenarios: “Approved” — receiving an official green light from our devs — or “Rejected” — discarded suggestions deemed by the devs as unrealizable. Rejected ideas will have an attached Developer Feedback explaining why they won’t advance to the next stage.
  • “In Development” - This means your idea is being worked on. And although we will not be able to provide a specific date for when it will be implemented into the game, we do assure you we are doing everything in our power to make it happen.
  • “Implemented” - Your idea was added to the game.
How can I track the status of my idea? How will I know if my idea got approved or rejected?
You will be able to track the status of your ideas(s) through your email that was linked to your Pilgrim Outpost account. We will be sending notifications to anyone who submits an idea.
Who will review my idea?
Our developers — designers, programmers, franchise directors and others!
What if someone copies my idea?
As a video game studio, we understand what goes into the creative process and that two or more people will often come up with the same or similar ideas. This does not necessarily mean that someone has copied a concept. Remember that submitting ideas is only one part of getting your idea pushed through. Sharing it around with other people allows it to gain more traction. It’s also good practice to check out “Voting” and “Rejected” sections to get a good grasp on what types get approved and which ones don’t.
Why is my idea not in the “In Review” slot, but a similar one is?
Upvotes are as important as the idea itself. Since we’ve received thousands of suggestions, we will prioritize the ideas that get the most upvotes to filter the demands better and wants of our community.
Will I get compensated for the ideas that were developed?
Community Ideas serve as a form of community interaction, not an active component of game development. It is merely an alternative to asking you what features you’d like to see through our social media, a system that gauges interest and enthusiasm around feedback or potential features.
Why is my submitted idea missing from the list?
Submissions not listed in “Voting” were rejected or did not meet the moderation criteria.
What are the moderation criteria?
Each submission will go through moderation to see if it meets the necessary criteria before it can be cataloged on the page. Entries cannot contain anything that is unlawful, tortious, fraudulent, deceptive, obscene, sexually explicit, defamatory, violent, threatening, harassing, abusive, falsely representative, or invasive of someone else’s privacy. Your Idea must not include any content that infringes any third party intellectual property rights or otherwise violates third-party rights.
Additionally, only one idea can be listed per submission. All entry positions (i.e., title, subtitle, description, etc.) must be filled out properly. The contents of a given Idea cannot be vague, unclear, irreverent (e.g., “make the game run on Ouya”, or “make the game free”), or include links. Finally, all entries must be filled out in English. Any other language used will be immediately flagged.
Why can I only submit ideas in English?
Community Ideas is currently in beta, which doesn’t support any other language. We plan to expand our language support, so expect to see changes in the future.
I want to change my idea. Can I edit my submission?
You cannot edit your idea. Once an idea has been submitted it cannot be changed.

i think because villador doesn't have guns maybe we can have more types of bows or crossbows? some different colors and designs for them, like maybe crossbows that shoot larger bolts but take longer to reload or bows that can shoot more then one projectile? like adding mods to them like maybe a scope and better reflex sight? and the bows already in the game can level up with your level along with them?

Guns were explained in lore that they were destroyed, probably including muskets. If anything, you can add a musket or one like it. Tiny metal balls blasted out a tube full of gunpowder, or small bolts like the scorpio.

Add another way to mod your weapons other than weapon mods that are only obtainable randomly when you explore the world and are not purchasable by vendors. Maybe add weapon parts you could find throughout the world that you can apply to your weapon that increases base stats like swing speed, damage etc. But maybe also make it so randomly rolled effect like increase damage towards infected can be applicable or increased this way. Or, make it so these upgrades can apply special stats like increased range, 10% chance for weapons to not take durability damage when swung etc.

I am often finding myself accidentally throwing my weapon when I do not want to, because I'm often pressing the attack button and interact button during a fight; e.g. I go to stomp an enemy I have just grappled onto the floor, and I try to follow up with attacking them with my weapon. What happens is that I throw my weapon because the input of Stomp and melee attack overlap, and this happens quite often to the point where I'm getting discouraged from even trying to do this combo.

Currently in-game we have no way of removing modifications from our weapons to change out and test new 1's. The only thing currently with this feature is the Carnage Shield which seems pretty odd for it to be restricted to 1 thing. The Luty SMG is a common homemade scrap gun invented by P.A. Luty. I understand guns aren't really a thing, but case reloading is. I think a few metal scraps and some solvent/chemicals could equate to a handful of Aiden-Made munitions.
The gun would be medium-damage with a high rate of fire, but have low durability. Every shot rattles it until eventually it falls apart. It would have the obvious drawback of being one of the loudest things in Villedor, lacking mods or ammo types, but that's a price worth paying for being able to give the order of "Rattle 'Em boys!"
Many people have said they want firearms, and I think this is a good way to do it. If not high-grade milspec gear, then this alternative could be a good option. Look at other guns such as the Sten, Welgun, MP3008, and Mac-10 for inspiration when it comes to cheap, homemade, low-tech firearms.

At least let us have this or a double-barrel we can actually reload.

Polearm weapon class: less speed than 1H weapons, less general damage than 2H weapons, sits in a middle ground and takes advantage of reach, power attack is a thrust, maybe thrown more like a spear.
Could be stuff like repurposed flagpoles, street signs, curtain rods, etc.
The renegades can use spears properly and I believe even Aiden can in some of the art, so it seems like a waste that all we have in the game are disposable javelins. I feel like polearms could be a fun, unique weapon that opens up a new playstyle for players.

Eduardobrine Improved Chainsaw IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CHAINSAW FROM DYING LIGHT 1
The chainsaw from Dying Light was a much requested feature, something that a zombie apocalypse game clearly requires. However, the original was not as good as we were hoping. It was clunky, it's damage wasn't good, and it was way too easy to be overrun by virals (especially being stunlocked). What I propose is some major improvements to the chainsaw to make it a viable weapon against the infected. Firstly, two modes of operation. Tapping the attack button will result in a side sweep, dealing damage similar to a heavy weapon. Holding the attack button will allow for continuous damage at the cost of producing excess noise (not too much that it would result in a volatile always being drawn to your position, but perhaps causing a level 1 chase to start if you're not careful). Next would be ammo/durability. Personally, I strongly dislike durability systems, but I understand the need for one. If it were to use the durability system, the way of how it would work is that the light swing attack would consume 1 durability, and the continuous damage would drain around 1 durability per second of continuous attack. If it were to use ammo, the it should rely on fuel that the player can craft or purchase. At the very least, the player should be able to hold a stack of at least 100 fuel to attack. Finally, there's the stagger. The original suffered from stagger, and all it would take was one viral to hit you and you would be unable to recover, leading to death. This, I would personally say was it's key downfall. If it were to be brought into DL2, stagger needs to be either greatly reduced so that only powerful foes like demolishers or goons can knock you out of the attack, removed entirely. Stagger should not be something that can happen via regular or viral enemies, as that will just result in it being useless. Overall, the chainsaw should be a powerful weapon that can shred through infected like they're made out of tissue paper, but offer the risk of drawing in powerful foes towards you if you're not careful. i think there should be high quality parts that can be given as rewards for helping a survivor or found in hard to open crates, which then can be put onto weapons via craftmasters to improve durability, or handling, instead of just the stats that are always on a weapon. Like, high quality metal to improve durability even more, or grip tape/handle bits so you don't lose stamina as fast with each swing.

This allows players to keep weapons they want to, while also keeping the Korek Charm relevant due to the charm being usable outside of a safe zone (unlike access to a Craftmaster). This is also needed due to many weapons not even having a charm slot, so they can't even be repaired via Korek Charm currently.

There could be some way to get low level armor at higher levels. As a user and a fan of the transmog system it would be nice to have a way of getting lower level gear. It could start appearing in vendors after reaching the first legend level (since vendors aren't as useful in the endgame, it would give them some purpose), or it could just drop from enemies and spawn around the world. Some low level armor has really nice aesthetics (for example tier 2 tank gear or the level 7 brawler gear) and since most players did not hoard low level armor before the Gut Feeling Update, the transmog is very limited to them because they can only use level 9 gear which doesn't provide that much variation. Example they can either explode with a trigger similar to dying light 1 or can be used as a distraction playing music at high volume luring nearby hostiles. You could also introduce encounters with fanatics of music wanting concerts or valuable records.

This idea is from how silent I've seen the survivor respawn system is with the perk.
Basically when a survivor revives you, they say nothing from the little cutscene and walk off. I disliked it, because it's awkward and has nothing to it, and it's quicker just to respawn normally as there is no payoff with the scene. So here's a suggestion. Voices for the scene that add a bit of depth to it and show the hospitality of the Villagers and a chance to get 1 Loot item.

When they help you up, the voice lines goes something like

"Hey, you alright Aiden?"
"Hey, can you get up?"
"You still kicking?"
"Let me help you up."

> Aiden gets up
"Yeah, I'm alright."
"Little help?"
"Ugh...yeah."

I was thinking also they would have sometimes a instance where you would get a item with it. Such as, they would give you a low tier health item or a stamina vial, to make the respawn actually worth anything.

Humans should go out and do stuff like walk across rooftops or even sometimes go in interiors looking for stuff in cash registers or even kick open trash cans basically competing with the player, taking stuff before they can, this would make it more of a challenge for getting items and make the player engaged whilst more different outfits and variants, they should also be more susceptible to the AI of biters and virals, the infected should not prioritize the player as their 100% but their entire surroundings which included the humans as I’ve experienced the infected to attack me more then the human right next to them, they should also react to the night and start running to the nearest safe zone and even enter them. Maybe even finding a wounded human that ventured into a dark zone or we hear a scream of a human and finding a fresh body and the place being slightly looted and the items they take are searchable so about the competitive items, you can get them back by killing the human but this does seem evil :). Humans should also prioritize their surroundings at 100% too like the biters and not just attack the player and ignore the infected behind them. They should collide with the player and not go through us as we can’t go through them, they shouldn’t always be afraid of virals. Some should stand their ground and fight back, I do know that peacekeepers do this but it should be expanded upon, they should also back away if there are too many infected like a horde of biters and be dynamic as if they have a brain themselves and should look at another human npc as they pass by and when waking around even paying attention to the infected and their environment even commenting upon it.

Hello techland I just had a idea about how we can make the hooded Nightrunner outfit look more accurate to the E3 2019 outfit we just need to add a white stripe on the back of the outfit and put some blue highlights on the top of the hood and to top things off we can remove the pilgrim bracelet but keep the other makeshift bracelet and replace the current Biomarker with the E3 2019 Biomarker

The Biters in DL2 should act more like DL1 zombies and this be even more fair since their brain is more rotted and they are less human than those in 1, they should slowly tilt their head when gazing upon the player or reacting to the player slowly as their mind is even more degraded and then their animalistic nature rushing in and coming for us with sometimes just one arm reaching out for us and not all got them should charge, we should bump into them and not just take damage, if we kill a human enemy, they should react to the body and start consuming it, their eyes should also glow, they should gaze at the sun like 1 and some should turn into nightwalkers like 1 as well with an adrenaline rushing effect as we see their muscles pulsing and shifting as they turn more like a viral, as it is night, they should be enhanced by a little some even benign minimal night walkers like being a slow job type of biter not like the rushing grab type but limping run and sometimes just reverting back. The more degraded biters should sometimes just lie on the ground inanimate like a dead body as they are rotting but also gives them a chance to surprise the player and they should be even less aggressive as they are almost bone and should almost even not pay attention, should even have dynamic animations like stumbling back for a moment or looking down at the ground just like the sunset immersion, we should see some even retreat into the darkness to await the night and once night is over they pile back inside just like the hive in Dying Light 1, there should be even more appearances of biters like completely bald biters or large muscular biters not like the brute ones but a mix of brute and regular, they would be breathing heavily and at night, brute walkers should have be more adrenalized and be able to smack us away like dl1 biters in the following. Basically muscular biters should just be faster when charging to grab, more adrenalized and thriving biters would be able to pay attention to the player more than some and we just have basic dynamic attentive biters, the more high attentive are like the ones we have now but should be minimized. They should also have better attacks and be able to actually hit human enemies as I constantly see them missing even when close as a fix for immersion for both the player and to see humans and zombies fighting and sometimes, a human should fail to escape from a grab when low. They should also be grabbing at surfaces when colliding at a wall or almost touching their face if smushed but forgetting basically being aware of pain as well, they might be slower like dying light 1 zombies but to keep in mind that they can take a lot more hits and have better chances at mutation and are stronger than Dying Light 1’s zombies. We should also have more sounds like even distorted cries for help not like the virals but almost like they are muttering words but this would be rare.

The Idea of tired enemies is not working well, like there ain't no benefit of it, one move and they’re fighting back.
But what if there’s some finishers for those tired enemies?

And they could do multiple reactions to it ( scared and trying to escape, keeps fighting or begging for mercy).

Couple Finishers like that would make the game fun and so immersive.

The most annoying thing about this game is the fact that I remapped the "Interact" key to "E" and that doesn't change the "climb up slope" button, the "let go of power cable" button, the "throw weapon" button, or ANY OTHER button that used the old interact button. I think it should remap ALL INTERACT BUTTONS because I personally use "F" to heal and it's annoying to heal everytime I want to do any basic interactable thing

The changes would be ai changes as in being even more aggressive when looking for prey like moving around the map in seek of prey as in not staying in one specific area whilst moving around like they stop for a moment, they should also remove the icons from when a volatile detects you to bring more immersion and make it more terrifying and a much faster detection speed just like the original as well, even waiting for players to ambush them which would be rare and make them less detectable with the survivor sense to fully be a good ambusher. They should also have smoke coming out of them when UV is flashed or when the sun comes out instead of the burning embers like the virals since their armor fits the color and they should have a proper chase them as there is no chase theme currently, one that should be intense like the first, more sounds when gaining on the player to apply pressure, they should also not prioritize their spit at a distance and go in for the attack and use it when the player is climbing or has the higher ground like the original. They should also be smarter and coordinate attacks like a hivemind as they seem to pile up behind you, some do spawn in front of you as they are awoke during chases but it should be even more expanded, during the chases coming down from the rooftops on the side when you are being chased on the streets. They should also collide with each other when chasing like moving pass biters like how Crane would bump against them. This would basically be an AI and effects/immersion changes

I know that adding a safezone building feature would be very difficult, so here's how it can be simplified. Add safezones around the map but instead of regular safe zones these ones give you quests such as collecting wood for a house or car batteries for electric fences, then when the player comes back with the quest items they are able to select certain base features to change given that they had chosen to grab the correct material. They will be able to change the layout of the buildings by selecting certain parts of the base like the outer 2 halves of the base and the inner segments, let's say that they gathered car batteries and collected UV lights. They can now choose from multiple defenses and put them at the front or back of the safehouse, and then you always get a player stash and bed on every safehouse because not all of them have some and it gets annoying if there isn't one. Depending on if it's on a roof top or on the ground floor, the safezone can have different buildings inside. Let's say if it's on the rooftop you can get farms on the inside allowing survivors to arrive which brings in traders and craftsmiths. Or bounty boards so you can quickly remove and accept tasks from harper and the hunter without having to journey across the map, maybe even add fast travel via a zipline crossroads if you collect cables and rope. I believe that stuff like this would make the player feel more in control and give them benefits for the time they spend planning and gathering the safezone resources. I thought this was a cool idea and hope you will take inspiration for some future project or maybe even dlc 2.

So, my idea is to make Immunity at least 6 - 7 minutes. That mechanic is so cool, but also a bit forgotten after maxed out, because it's 18 real time minutes, that's ALMOST a whole night. So here comes also immunity booster nerf, I'd like to see a cooldown on it, like 5 minutes cooldown before using another one and instead of getting whole immunity instantly, we would get it very slowly, just keeping us alive for some seconds but there's UV flares which are restorting UV really quick too and safe zones, my idea was to lock every small safezone at night, so player actually has to deal with night and be prepared. Even if these changes are not possible, I'd really like to see lower immunity, I love the idea of it, so i'd like to see more love for this mechanic, also it's a bit of time-pressure mechanic which would enchance night even more!

This may be a dumb idea. However, this new volatile type will not be fully protected from UV rays, they will still burn. But unlike other ones, it would take insanely bright UV light in order to affect it, meaning the basic UV flashlight would have no effect, but brighter lights like the UV bars, lamps, and the sun would burn the volatile on the spot.
It's armor would be a dark scortched piece of it's tough, dead skin, offering extra protection.
A way they would be formed is if a volatile stood in the UV lights for too long, therefore starting to turn burnt skin into armor.
This idea is probably one of the worst, but could be very fun in gameplay.

With transmog feature, you can change appearance for each of them too.

You can set a theme or tone of mood that you want for a particular set and tell them apart that way too!

Having the Gear Loadout System will make switching in between different sets with different appearances at once with ease.

The price to hire should be more than the price to revive. Once you buy the person or companion to help you out it should be able to stay with you forever, but the only time you shouldn’t be able to call them in is in certain story points or just the whole story in general but besides that they should be able to be called in anytime, it maybe doesn’t have to be a human either maybe it could be a dog. I know this is a lot to take in but it’s a cool idea in my opinion.

Eventually Dying Light 2 will stop being updated, but new players will still keep coming long after. It's not very fair that current players get to experience all the good stuff. The events in Dying Light 1 were extremely fun, but I know I'll never be able to experience them again. I don't want the same for Dying Light 2.

Dying Light 2 should preserve all events that happen by allowing them to be toggled on and off in a Event Modifier section in the menu. This could allow for a bunch of fun experiences, especially if you can mix them. Also, the rewards from the events should remain exclusive.

However, if any event is enabled then saving should be automatically disabled, achievements unearnable and stats not being tracked. This would be to prevent people from using specific events that can give them an advantage for any progress.

I really wish this feature was added on Dying Light 1, but it's not too late for it to be added on Dying Light 2.

As someone who has invested a fair amount of time into DL2, I am always finding items while exploring the world. These can range from gear, weapons, resources and etc. A major gripe I've always had was the lack of a lock/mark as trash button. Why is this a problem you wonder? Well I will tell you. The ability to lock an important item will bring me ease of mind so that I don't drop or accidentally sell an item or even destroy it by accident. This isn't me totally being paranoid that I may drop my broomstick.. Next, the ability to mark items as trash. When you have reached a certain point in the game, you will find yourself selling a lot of bad gear and items that you won't use. A lot of the time, I find bad gear or even bad resources such as low level throwables and boosters. So what do I do... sell them or drop them. But it would be a lot more lucrative to sell them instead. Having to check all my gear and trying to figure out which is bad and good takes way more time then it should. So, the ability to mark bad items as trash and quicksell them at a store would be such a massive convenience. Example, I killed a special infected, I then get a weapon from them, check my inventory to see if it's good or bad. I decide it's bad, so then I can conveniently mark it as trash with one button and move on. I play for a while, find some new things, mark some more items as trash and when I'm ready, go to shop and quick sell everything then move on with my session.

Bloom is applied in areas where it shouldn't, and it's pretty much blinding the player at times, for it's a bit too strong at times, especially when on the lower street levels, and also, it seems to occur when an object is occupying part of the screen, the more it does, the stronger the bloom gets, for example it can be applied on grass too, which shoudln't happen, it is also messing with the sunset, when bloom is applied the sky turns blue.

The option would allow us to tone down the bloom using a slider, aswell as add an option to turn it on/off.

I, amongst other people were a fan of how risky the jumps were due to the lack of AC the player had in the game. It also made it so that you could look around without changing which way you were going, which is currently not possible with the most recent changes. The only way to get rid of AC currently is to choose the parkour mode as "Assisted", which changes a lot more than just AC, like the animations / gravity, making it feel "floaty" again. I believe that players shouldn't have to compromise at all, just to opt-out of the current version of AC.

Players could aquire points at the cost of a certain amount of immunity, this would allow players to reduce the timer as much as they want in favour of certain buffs. These buffs could include: Natural Regeneration, Increased Run Speed, Less Stamina Usage etc. I would love to see this become an actual key element in the gameplay, having skills such as fury even be unlocked in this tree and also having to balance immunity and power.

I absolutely love what you guys are doing with the game and I cannot wait to see more features be implemented!

Though it may be easy to forget, I really enjoyed the tutorial segment at the start of the game. Not just cause it was an effective hook for the game, but also cause of the setting. Exploring the last city is cool, but there's something about the more urban setting travling there that really captivated me. Traversing through the trees and the woods, using parkour to scale the clifs and hiker trails. Sneaking through hoards of infected sleeping in driving tunnels. It was unlike anything we had seen before. And there are a few areas within Viledor that invoke a simmilar feeling, but I'd honestly love to have a full map dedicated to this kind of concept. A wide open-area to explore and discover akin to the countryside in the following DLC of Dying light. It'd be a way to further show how the world has changed in the modern dark ages, beyond civilization, what pilgrims go through and how harsh it is to survive out in the wild. What kind of people live here, if any? How do the infected change and mutate to adapt to an enviorment dominated by nature? What about animals, have they managed to survive? Or has the infection even started to spread to them? There's a lot of possibilites that can be explored, in worldbuilding, and in gameplay. Swinging from vines and branches just like ropes and monkey bars, mountains to scale as imposing as skyscrapers, and caves and shacks outfitting with UV lights in places of busses. It'd be interesting to see players adapt to these familiar mechanics in new forms, with potential changes. It all has potential, and I'd love to re-vist that awestruck feeling I had opening the game for the first time and seeing the sunrise in the distance before running off into the woods to the last city.

I always loved the architecture of Saint Paul Cathedral, but I always found it sad how only 2 quests in the entire game brought the player here, the same applies to Saint Joseph. My idea is perhaps St Paul's Cathedral could become an accessible Dark Hollow either if Aiden doesn't side with Juan to get the Transmitter bugged, or after he meets Kurt. The overall layout of the Cathedral could change, like adding more hiding spots or section off some areas to make a more claustrophobic experience.

The same could be said for Saint Joseph Hospital, except more rooms could become accessible after Aiden gets his biomarker. Giving him more areas to explore and loot.

Both locations could act as a Hive of sorts. Places where a large chunk of the infected population come from. Clearing them out could make the nights marginally easier, but if Aiden isn't up for that, they could visit to scavenge top tier loot.

I would love to see more „real“ sidequests like in the first game, where a little story gets told, where you need to go to different locations, kill enemies, … , because right now I feel like there are just so many parcour quests. Im playing Dying Light 2 since release and that was always a thing where I was a bit disappointing for me because the first game had such great side quests. Like really special weapons or the nice „classic“ quests which I mentioned above. Please add more quests like in the first game. I know you can do it, I love you Techland.

Add raids to the game sort of like incursion, 1 to 4 player coop and its simple, frank or juan radio Aidan about bandit or renegade activity example. Renegades managed to fix a tank, its aint moving yet but the cannon is operating, find a way to destroy the tank. Course difficulty levels are needed so crafting and mutation samples for easy and weapons and cosmetics for hard. Hope this idea will become reality in the future.

This mission is inspired by stories set in the medieval setting, as per what Dying Light 2 also takes inspiration from. The quest would begin when Aiden notices a Wanted poster on a Peacekeeper notice board, asking for the head of Robin Hood. Aiden will need to go around following clues from both Survivors and Peacekeepers to track him down and catch him. Aiden will notice how the Survivors speak highly of Robin Hood, while the Peacekeepers do not. Once Aiden apprehends Robin Hood, you discover that he - in fashion - only steals from the Peacekeepers and gives to the Survivors. Aiden is then met with a choice: Let Robin Hood run free; or hand him over to the Peacekeepers where he will watch Robin Hood hang.

PUKEKO_9 Dying Light 2: The Underworld A NEW STORY SET UNDERNEATH THE CITY OF VILLEDOR
After hearing rumors of a society living in the dark underneath the city of Villedor, Aiden delves into the depths to discover a new clan that have survived underground since the bombings completely unaware of the state the city is in above. That is because they are too concerned with even greater threat that lives below.
For some time, this group has survived in a self sustaining society. However recently there have been attacks on the city growing in frequency and intensity, the source of this conflict all coming from deeper below.
Aiden approaches the group amidst a struggle for power amongst the clan elders. Many conflicting ideas and solutions to the problem have been brought forward but tensions and urgency have only increased as more and more clan members are lost to the darkness.

In this brand new adventure, as well as defending the clan from waves of attacks from the undead, Aiden must advance into the depths of the city to find out the source of this horror.

The first area is set in abandoned subways, forgotten basements, and unlooted survival bunkers just below the surface of the city. There are glimpses of electricity, power, and light. A influx of virals has made the area too dangerous for the clan to explore anymore.

A deeper area is set in the catacombs underneath the city. Ancient and forgotten, this massive tomb has been left abandoned and has heavily decayed. In the complete darkness, a new enemy type has evolved. Completely blind, it uses sound and its long, tentacle-like arms to feel it's way around and hunt it's prey. Don't forget to use your flares to mark your path so you don't get lost in this dark, twisted maze of horrors.

The deepest area is the core of all the problems. A hive of volatiles. And at the center of it all is a giant sentient Volatile that has discovered a way to control the hive mind of undead to do whatever it desires. Ultimately, to rule the underground and eventually take over the city. Aiden must use all of his experience, power, and determination to find a way to overcome this threat and save everyone.

I would like this concept to be delivered as a roguelike. I believe the challange, generated content, the unpredictability and randomness of the rougelike formula would be a great addition to the Dying Light experience. Each time you die Aiden will evolve with more skills and power, also the story of the clan will evolve each time you return. Even base building elements as you rebuild the clan from the brink of collapse into a fort, capable of defending any kind of attack.

It is so silly, rework it (after broadcast mission) with actual logical endings with a bigger factions role (rather than just a route to get to the same point).

With all the updates the prolouge has become pretty horrid and it would be nice to go through it and restructure it to fit in with the newer updates so new players aren't turned off from the game because the night is insanly dark and they have no flashlight (Banshee fight for example) or when you meet the howler for the first time and it does nothing and it's just awkward

(Since Chapter 1 focusses on Brawler class and 1H slashing weapons, and Chapter 2 focusses on Ranger class and throwable weapons).
And it would really fit so good.

I have had an idea, in which you have to help in a seperate story line to help smuggle guns into villedor, as i think is something the community would really like to see again.
More specifice: In this story, as i said, you meat a guy who has had the idea to smuggle guns back into villedor and give them to the survivors, but the peacekeeper try to hold you and your new friend back from completing so you have to steal a van and uniform to get to a location where the peacekeepers hid guns and you take the, but you get caught and you are now escaping with a few guns for yourself, but still you try to get more for survivers so you come back but this time try to sneak into the storage room and grab around 2 middle weight chests which slow down your movement sneaking out but ifyou are succesful getting out without fighting the weapons come in a better quality than when fghting.
The bullets are selfmade with scraps, but you can also craft bullets which burn.
I also think bullet should be stronger against humans then infected as they have seem to have less body strenght and bone mass.
